Forgot Your Password

This function will allow you to change your existing password to a new one if you have forgotten your password.

To change your password, under this function, you must remember you're three secret questions and their corresponding answers, which you have provided when subscribing to BankNet.

Reset Your Secret Questions
This function will allow you to request to reset your Secret Questions online. The system will allow you to submit your request only if you enter the following correct information:
  • User ID
  • Account Number
  • Bank
  • E-mail Address (The e-mail address entered should match the one initially selected by the user)

After submitting the application, an external e-mail will be sent automatically to your defined e-mail address in the bank records. This e-mail will consist of a link which will be accessible by entering your user ID and the temporarily password you have specified. You will be able to select new secret questions and set their corresponding answers. You will also be requested to set a new password.

The new answers to the secret questions after resetting will serve as passwords and will ensure security in the access to certain secure functions of our Internet Banking service.

Open New Account
New applicants, who are not EBG customers, can open the following Emirates Bank accounts through BankNet
  • Current Account
  • Special Current Account
  • Savings Account
  • Currency Passport Savings Account
  • Plan Account
  • Fixed Deposit
  • Call Deposit

These accounts are currently 'Individual' accounts with single signatory only. Opening of a new account through BankNet will automatically register you with BankNet.

On receipt and verification of the relevant documentation, you will receive an email with a link to BankNet, where you can set up your password by answering the secret questions.

Preferred User ID
While opening a new account through BankNet or signing up for BankNet, you will be required to be set up your own User ID, in this field. This ID can be used along with the password, to access the account. The ID should be 6 – 10 characters long.

Secret Questions
All new applicants will be required to set up answers to three secret questions. The answers will be encrypted and known only to you. These answers essentially serve as passwords and will allow the user access to the certain secure functions in BankNet, change of password etc.

Sign Up for BankNet
This function allows you to subscribe for BankNet, if you are an existing Emirates Bank customer. On receipt of the form, and signature verification, you will receive an email with a link to BankNet, where you can set up your password by answering the secret questions.
